Applying Advanced Geotechnical Capabilities

Advanced Terra Testing (ATT) has been performing geotechnical laboratory testing for over 40 years and offers a wide range of capabilities. ATT is a longstanding member and active participant in ASTM International and the Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME). ATT holds a radioactive materials license with the State of Colorado and is accredited by the AASHTO Accreditation Program (AAP).

As the Quality Assurance Manager, Shannon ensures that ATT’s quality program adheres to all the standards and quality requirements dictated by such bodies as ASME, ISO, AASHTO and ASTM. As the Geosynthetics Division Manager she supervises all geosynthetic material testing as well as the chemistry laboratory.

Hamid Nazeri Receives ASTM Award for CERCHAR Method

Dr. Hamid Nazeri received the Richard S. Ladd Standards Development Award from ASTM Committee D18 on Soil and Rock in recognition of his work developing ASTM Standard D7625 - "Standard Test Method for Laboratory Determination of Abrasiveness of Rock Using the CERCHAR Abrasiveness Index Method".
